Welcome to Timber Top Cabin, a serene and cozy 2-bedroom, dog friendly cabin -- located just a few miles north of Unicoi State Park! Tiimber Top is perfect for two couples, or a small family, along with your furry family members. Both bedrooms are complete with king-size beds, and private baths. In addition, one of the bedrooms has a fold-down Futon, which is perfect for a younger child wanting to stay close to Mom and Dad.
Timber Top offers a private, wooded setting just far enough off the beaten path for peace and quiet, yet just 4 miles to Unicoi State Park and 7 miles to the Bavarian village of Alpine Helen GA! The open floor plans offers ample room to stretch out, relax, play and rest, with two full size leather sofas, Satellite and Smart TV with Netflix streaming, wood burning fireplace, and a great central location for all your nearby exploring adventures.
When you're ready to experience the festive nearby towns of Helen and Sautee Nacoochee, you'll find them within minutes of your cabin along Hwy 356. Experience Georgia's only Mountain Coaster, right in Helen, or head to one of our amazing Vineyards and Wineries for a taste of Georgia like you've never had before! The North Georgia mountains are home to two designated American Viticultural Areas (the Dahlonega Plateau AVA and the Upper Hiwassee Highlands AVA). These regions have been recognized for their specific geographic pedigrees and have strict rules about which wines can display the AVA label.
The full, well-equipped kitchen is outfitted with all your needs -- utensils, cookware, and appliances including a full-size, top-freezer refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, dishwasher, and even a Keurig (so don't forget to bring your favorite K-cups)! A washer/dryer is available, so you can pack light and refresh your wardrobe!
Timber Top also has a screened in porch at the rear of the cabin, with a private hot tub, outdoor seating, and a gas grill! Everything you need for those days when the weather is not so cooperative! You can spend the entire day just relaxing and hanging at this wonderful and private cabin nestled in the woods.

The check in/check out process was simple. The cabin was very spacious and clean. It is 10-15 minutes from downtown Helen. We enjoyed buying food from Betty's to cook and enjoyed a rainy day/night in. The hot tub was relaxing along with some good music. Such a nice getaway and just what we needed.
