Early Byrd is an impressive combination of both renovated and vintage interior, with a beautiful new kitchen, expanded living area, and outstanding views of Lake Burton! The easy access ramp leads to the wrap around deck and entry to Early Byrd. Step in to this gorgeous one level, everything is right there at your fingertips space, and just kick back and enjoy!

On one side of the living room, sliding doors open to the deck with umbrella table/chair set and glider.  A great spot to start the day with morning coffee.  On the other side of the living room is a door leading to the back patio area of Early Byrd, outfitted with chairs and fire ring, patio table for 4, and an amazing hot tub!  This is the spot for closing out the day — with a steaming hot tub and a warm fire! 

The newly renovated kitchen has everything you need for a great family getaway.  The living area is equipped with a 58” flat screen TV, easily watchable from the living/dining area. The keeping room, with wood burning fireplace, is set for great conversations — all with those Great Lake Burton views as a backdrop.  Perfect for a ladies weekend!  

Lake Burton consists of 62 Miles of shoreline and some of the most tranquil water from many of the streams and creeks nearby. The lake is also listed as one of the top ten most pristine lakes in the United States!! 

LaPrades Marina, 3 miles by car, offers a boat ramp, pontoon and storage rentals. Anchorage Marine on the eastern side of Lake Burton offers pontoon, ski boat, jet ski and all watersport rentals.  And make plans to visit visit Moccasin Creek State Park for kayak, stand-up paddleboard and canoe rentals; or cast a hook in a clear mountain stream, hike miles of beautiful trails, and be sure to check out the Fish Hatchery!  

Summer at Lake Burton has a laid back vibe, with good food and music, and lots of fun happenings. Lake Burton Grill offers indoor or covered deck seating with stunning views of Lake Burton, a chef inspired menu featuring steaks & seafood and an extensive wine list. The Farmhouse at Waterfall Club on the northern end of Lake Burton, offers farm to table cuisine with an ever changing menu sourced from area farms in Georgia and North Carolina.  And with nearby waterfalls, the Appalachian Trail, Vineyards & Wineries and outstanding restaurants, you'll find no shortage of wonderful experiences!  The Alpine village of Helen is also closeby! The only season that might rival summer season at Burton is autumn on the lake (or holiday season on the lake . . . or spring!) No matter what season, Early Byrd is an amazing place to relax and reconnect with friends and family . . .
