This vacation cabin rental in Helen, GA has it all . . . breathtaking views and the ultimate in luxury. Located on the back side of Mount Yonah, Matterhorn has some of the best views in the area. While taking in the surroundings, you can choose to simply pull up a chair and relax on the deck or start a cracklling campfire complete with S'mores.
Once inside, you can really indulge with a full sauna, play pool on a real slate table, relax with your favorite shows or movies on or just take in the incredible mountain views! Your cabin rental offers the luxuries and modern amenities of home, with the elegance and rustic charm of an all-wood cabin. The lower level daylight basement can also work as a 3rd bedroom/ Entertainment Game room. This level includes full shower and sauna, Smart TVs with Fiber internet. This cabin features a bedroom on the main and upstairs floors, plus bunk beds in the entertainment room that can comfortably sleep adults or children.
Although you may not want to leave this beautiful vacation cabin rental and setting, the area offers a wide range of recreational activities! Taking in our beautiful mountains, local waterfalls, visiting our award-winning vineyards, as well as the quaint Bavarian-style town of Helen, Georgia.

This property is ideally located for us as our oldest son and family are only 1 hour South and our youngest is in Goldsboro, NC, we came from just North of Dayton, OH. Absolutely beautiful area that we want to explore more in the future. The cabin is at the top of all the cabin's we have stayed at from the Gatlinburg area to Hocking Hills in Southeast Ohio. My wife and I were so in love with getting up each morning and having coffee on the deck, looking at the view!

The Matterhorn is a fantastic cabin. It was everything we imagined. The view is spectacular. All of the furniture was comfortable and in like-new shape. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed.There are plenty of dishes and a ton of mugs for hot chocolate or coffee. An added bonus was the tap water. This may sound like an odd thing to notice, but the water out of the tap and refrigerator spout was wonderful. There was no odd chlorine taste or smell and we opted for that rather than our bottled water. Stargazing is easy from the main deck especially with a cup of coffee in hand. When we return to this area, this will be our go-to cabin.

The home, its design, the natural setting and the friendly, competent staff at Pinnacle combined to make this stay perfect. We "high-fived" when we walked in the front door as the views were spectacular. Someone gave great thought to the natural design of Matterhorn as it relates to nature. Our only regret is that we are not still there enjoying the comforts of this magical home, and the spectacular views it offers. We are in gratitude to the people who have such high standards, a love of nature, and are willing to share these with the rest of us.

The property was beautiful. Cabin is well maintained. Only improvements that I can think of:
1) have the ladder attached to the bunk beds. It is not level and kept moving, concerned about safety.
2) notice one of the spindles was broken on front porch railing.
Sometimes when you go on a trip, you have a good time but think I am ready to get home. Not here, felt very much at home and did not want to leave.

The Matterhorn was a magnificent cabin. The driveway is a bit steep especially during snow but the view at the top was amazing. From the minute you enter the cabin it is stunning. The cabin is comfortable, warm and cozy. Wonderful big soft couches, huge fireplace, great kitchen table and well organized kitchen. The bedrooms are a great size and decorated beautifully. The beds are very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. We didn't use the downstairs except to play pool which was fun and to go in and out to the Jacuzzi. Over all we loved the cabin and cannot wait to come back again, perhaps in the fall. I give it a 5 stars
